DCE team up with Buglife to survey brownfield site

DCE will be working with Buglife and Bumblebee Conservation Trust to survey a  large brownfield site the TATA Steelworks in Port Talbot, South Wales. We will be surveying for a range of invertebrate taxa within the Diptera, Hymenoptera, Hemiptera, Coleoptera and Lepidoptera and will be providing recommendations on site management for any scarce species that may occur. The surveys will begin in May 2014, so watch this space for updates on our records!
